    I think it would be nice if in the first 2-3 seconds when you start to sprint you will get a speed boost and if you hit something infront of you you will make 2-3 hearts damage plus knockback. So if you fight against a creeper you can push him away for short time. It would also fix a problem of my friend who isn't good in fighting. He is very bad in fighting creeper because of his bad movement and if this feature would exist it would help him very much and he doesn't need a knockback sword anymore. I think that this enchantment is just for this special mob interesting and bad for every other one.
    I think it is a nice idea too because the Netherite armor is for knockback resistance and the helmet as something like a conter for the armor.

    Let me know what you think!

    Just a edit to my first comment.
    Another positiv aspect would be that the most creeper explosions wouldn't happen.

    And i thought about the damage of the helmet with horn.
    Leather -> not possible!
    Iron -> 1 heart
    Gold/Chain -> 0.5 hearts
    Diamond -> 1.5 hearts
    Netherite -> 2 hearts

    I think the main aspect of the helmet should be the knockback and reduction of creeper holes so the damage shouldn't be to high.

    And i think it is pritty cool if you look like a vikinger if you are in the cold mountains!

    It could also work so that when you are mining and chop a dd block on top and gravel or sand falls on it, it breaks when it touches the hull.

    Perhaps the horns would give you a chance to land a critical blow on a hit, or increase range slightly.

    Do you think we could also make use for Warden Antlers on helmets

    And then we could also have warden antlers added to helmets as well with their own special properties. They would allow you to detect vibrations within a certain radius. When there is a vibration such as a mob or a block being placed it will give a glowing effect in your view. This could help a player detect mobs in hidden areas or behind walls, as well as hold many other functionalities. When something makes a vibration within the player radius there is a 1 second delay and then the player gets a glowing effect within that location. This can also occur from projectiles. Additionally in multiplayer player's sneaking will not be detected. Also vibrations from behind wool will not be detected. Can you imagine playing a hide and seek mini game where all other players are invisible with this.

    Perhaps warden antlers and spyglasses could be added through smithing tables as well. The antlers would detect vibrations and the spy glass would allow you to zoom in by pressing ctrl whenever you need to still looking like the spyglass.

    I don't think the speed boost sprint mechanic works because you could just stop sprinting for 1 second and then get the speed boost again.

    Decided to search for this after seeing a youtube comment with the same idea. I really hope this gets added, definitely one of the best ideas I've seen on here that isn't already under review!

    I love this idea but I feel like something like the headbutt thing would over complicate pvp a bit too much. The attack cooldown and the overcharge that the said combat tests had already exist and adding a third stage to the charge that's not even connected to the weapon you're using just makes it all confusing. Horns were mostly likely used throughout history for aesthetic purposes and ritualistic purposes. I think instead of the pvp usage you propose I think it could have an intimidation factor to it. When you apply the horns to the armors you can scare off certain mobs depending on what level your armor is, think of it like you being a cat and your world is the creeper. Leather armor could just ward off goats, iron could ward off certain mobs, diamond and gold could probably ward off stronger mobs such as Endermen, then Netherite scares off any normal mob that you may find in the nether and you even scare Pillagers! I would imagine this to be less of something for combat, more of just not wanting to associate with your day to day mobs. This wouldn't affect boss mobs but I fear that it may make the final fight with the Ender Dragon too easy if it goes as far as preventing Enderman attacks.

    You could sprint into a mob to deal a large amount of knockback but little damage. Doing this attack would decrees the durability. The amount of knockback is determined by the type of helmet.

    minecraft should add armor upgrading mechanic to co-exist with enchants (maybe one armor piece could have only one upgrade)

    I think it should just be an iron helmet that works. Personally I think it’s best if people can pick and choose what’s the best armor.

    I think it should deal damage equal to your blocks per second so you can use speed potions to boost damage.

    I think that it can cause more knockback if you're sprinting and more damage when you're low on health.

    However, Viking helmets historically did not have horns as its is really a common misconception spread by pop culture and modern media. As such the idea of having horns is really more fantasy vikings than real vikings. I apologise if anyone is offended or is annoyed by this.

    I agree with this. But it over complicates PvP.
    One comment suggested that it should not have a ramming feature, but an intimation feature instead. I agree.
    I don't think ramming is a bad idea however. I think it would have use in horses or potions. Attach it to horse armor, and add a ramming feature there. Or as potion effect.
    Or it could even be used to call pets such as dogs to battle if you really need it.

    I don't know.

    This would be a great addition to go along with the new armor trim announcement!

    I think it should be purely cosmetic like armor trims.
