    Or if you would place a colored piece of glass underneath it, like a beacon! Cool idea!

    I think this is a great idea. As well as this, i think the texture of the spore blossom is too complex, and should be simplified, as at the moment it looks like a mod and not a minecraft vanilla feature!

    In my opinion this should not work with dye but with "pollen" from other flowers, so if you right click it with roses, the particles become red and if you rightclick with orchids it will become light-blue

    100% agree custom particle effects are a great step in giving players better ambiance control.

    For building and ambience this would be a much welcomed addition to the game. As it stands the use for the spore blossom is heavily limited due to the fact the particles are only comparable with green / natural environments. With this change the spore blossom would have much wider application and become a general use falling particle emitter great for map makers, builders, and people ho what to create custom environments to fit their world and play style!

    This is a great idea. I think spore blossom can also be "dyed" with glow ink sac to make the particles glow in the dark.

    To make it more intuitive players should be able to just right click a spore blossom with dye. The center of the blossom should change color to indicate it is dyed so if one chooses to use a lot of blossoms they dont get lost trying to find the one they forgot.
