Changes To The Bat

Bats can be found flying around caves as normal, but they are far more mischievous now. Bats can pick up an item that has fallen to the ground and fly off with it. Bats and the Warden are also 'friends'. Bats are not picked up on the Warden's radar so they can fly freely in the deep dark and they like to land on the Warden's horns. Sometimes, the Warden shakes its head to get the bats off of its head.

    Wardens being friends with bats are a cool idea, just like the bunnies. With the benefit that its more likely that a Warden finds bats since they're both found in caves. Though bats should maybe only be "annoing" if the warden is around or if the player attacks the warden.

    Maybe bats could be flying from wardens??  Maybe bats could pick up torches.

    I really like this idea as bats in real life use echolocation to get around caves so being friends with wardens is a really cool concept going by its only way to know the world around them is by vibrations, maybe they can be like a butterfly for the warden distracting them  temporarily if there's nothing of interest around, something like the warden trying to catch a bat would be a really cool idea and kinda cute to be honest.

    As for gameplay, the animation of a warden distracted by playing with bats may give the player information whether the warden is actively looking for them if they miss the "looking around" animation shown on minecraft live

    Yes bats should also fly out of caves at night and then return back in the morning

    The thing about this idea is that the bats in minecraft are already annoying enough, so if this is added I want bats to drop something when you kill them

    A Youtube channel named SimplySarc recently made a video talking about giving useless MC things uses, and 1 of them is the bat. He suggested by feeding it a spider eye, it would make all the torches you placed nearby have the glowing effect (where you can see it through walls) so it can help you find your way if you get lost. Really great idea. The distance of making the torches have the glowing affect would depend on your render distance, and probably would last for a couple minutes.

     If you could also use their ability to pick up items in certain kinds of farms. Not your help I think it be interesting. Way to make use of the mischievous nature

    Maybe bats could also snatch berries from glow berry vines and eat them since a lot of bat species are known for eating fruit

    Bats should produce guano which is poop which can be a fertilizer. Guano can be put onto dirt to make loam which is a fertile soil. Loam would maximize crop yield.

    I would also like to see the ability to breed bats. Perhaps we could feed them the new glowberries coming in the new update. That would fit with the bats so well IMO. Furthermore they could drop gunpowder. So having a bunch of bats would be another much needed source of gunpowder :). (In real life, bat guano was used to make gunpower for centuries).

    Maybe the bat could be tamed with sweet berries, then they would bring you items instead of taking them. For example when you mine a block they pick them up.

    Bats have echolocation which is basically what the warden has so maybe they can help you in some way against it. Bats can scream super loud in real life. And Piglins have super ears, maybe the bat can scare piglins. This could also somehow interact with the warden

    It could also become angry at the player when messin with the warden. So when we stay still and the warden is looking for us it has a chance to fly over like the phantom and deal a tiny bit of damage, causing us to move.

    Having it so awakening bats will cause them to let out screams would be great for the deep dark, adding an extra level of stealth where you not only need to keep your eyes on the floor for sensors, but you also need to look up high for bats you may awaken. Maybe angering "deep bats" as I like to call them could make it so they fly around you for a while, alerting the warden of your current location for a while as the bats scream loudly to signal that an intruder has arrived.

    I like everything but the new 'look' of the bats change it back I hate the new kiddie look thing please change it back
