Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

The thing about adding yet another ore is that if you're not going to use it for a ton of other stuff, it's just bloat. I don't think adding tin solely for the sake of a bronze block is worth it.

Copper is already shown as being used in not only the unique aging blocks, but also telescopes, lightning rods, and seemingly also brushes. It's clear that Mojang is trying to give copper a lot of reasons to exist in the game, and I expect that we'll be seeing it show up in more and more recipes in future updates.

The problem with tin is that it's close to iron in appearance, and I think most recipes that could use tin could just use iron instead. So why bother adding tin in the first place?

I think it would be best to make use of existing items (thus making those items more useful). Why not use the existing honeycomb items to cover the copper in a protective layer of wax? (Honeycombs are just bee wax, after all.) This could be implemented either through a crafting recipe or through right-clicking copper with a honeycomb in hand.
