    Or just maybe make it so it can spawn in any cave as a rare mob.

    I like the idea of environmental information identifying the killer bunny as being local, but I think this would be better implemented as a structural spawn like the witch hut. A couple near-surface small cave variants could spawn as structures in a biome-limited way. Not sure what structural aesthetic would fit best, perhaps bone stalactites or a small water source in the cave with a couple field blocks with carrots around it.

    Maybe the killer bunny is more likely to spawn the more bunnies you've killed? It's like local difficulty but with bunnies.
