    Would work well with the new candles! however i don't think we should have portable bells, because then what would be the point of bells xD

    It would be awesome to have sconces, but I think goat horns are too expensive to use in a crafting recipe like that.

    I think this is a great idea! Goat horns could also be a new type of instrument in Minecraft to make music also the light feature would be great for anyone building in a medical style.

    Crafting a goat horn with a gold nugget and a nether star should give you a whistle to call a rideable of your choice. Right click on the animal and yellow sparkles will appear showing it will respond to the whistle.

    Bells would still have the unique use of highlighting raid mobs.

    I wish the goat horn can be used to trigger raid in your base but to do it you need to put a specific block and defend it against raid and the pillagers will win if they kill you or they break the block.

    What about having the goat horn craft into a cone that could direct, and possibly extend, the sounds from note blocks. Being very useful with skulk sensors.

    I really think goat horn should make sound like the pillager raid. When you do the "sound" nearby village getting raid , pillager patrol and pillager outpost respond back with the sound. Its kinda like eye of ender where its use to find stronghold while the horn try to find pillager

    3 in a row makes a Pan flute

    9 in a block added to a note block gives you and Organ sound

    Add 4 Around a hopper and it will give a 4 way split

    I would like the goat horn to be enchantable. It can highlight certain mobs depending on the enchantment. Something like, “Creepers Aura” showing all nearby creepers, or “Undead’s Call” showing all undead mobs. Or maybe enchantments that grants different status effects for a short amount of time like “strength” or “night vision”

    I really like the new goat horn animation where it doesn’t look like your eating it. I think the goat should drop its horn if it hits any block and not just logs but I don’t know if that’s a bug. I think a really cool idea would be to distract the Warden because the goat horn produces a lot of sound. It would be really funny if the player was given slowness to show that they are out of breath making all of that sound to not make it to op. Another arguably better use is when using the goat horn it would help you find the deep dark or ancient cities because currently they are super rare. Maybe all of the skulks activating at once could send a beam of light or audio clue to guide the player to exploration.

    I'd really like if goat horns could store sound effects, and play them at the will of the player - this would make for very interesting combinations on things. Few examples:

     

    Creeper hissing sound - pranking friends couldn't be easier!

    Noteblocks sound - create a whole orchestra with enough players!

    Ambient sounds (such as rain) - develop secret signalings!

    Thunder sound - make for a cooler war cry horn!

     

    And many more! It would give it so much potential to be worked with.
