Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Wet overlay texture

Make an wet directional overlay for texture. The side of a block that is in contact with rain, dripping, and or next to water would have a wet texture. It would add a beauty to rain, and maybe cave's.

    This sounds like a feature for a shader mod or texture pack

    Even making wet surfaces slightly darker, like the top surfaces of blocks in rain or the sides where water is touching, would make a big difference.
