Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Netherite anvil

A netherite anvil would be crafted with less materials than an iron anvil, maybe 1 block and 6 bars (up to the developers). The new anvil would never break and items could not be "too expensive" to upgrade or repair (currently 40 levels in the iron anvil).

    That seems very expensive for something that can be achieved by an iron farm and smart enchanting.

    But an iron anvil can't do over 40 levels

    Instead of crafted, I think using the Netherite upgrade template in a Smithing Table to creat an upgraded anvil with 1.75x the durability of a normal anvil. This way it still breaks and provides end game level repair and armor enchant.
