Placing things on carpet

It would be very helpful if there was a way to place things on carpet. It would be a bit easier to play in my opinion :)

    Can you describe the reason for doing so? For the floor I prefer to use whole wool blocks, while carpet can be used for rugs rather than the whole floor.

    Having a bed that I can't place on a rug is maddening. What is the point of carpet that can't have anything on it. that's what carpet is for. I fully endorse this suggestion.

    My 5yo wanted me to play with him and I didn't know I couldn't. I was so mad!!

    I agree with this. Would like to be able to put a carpet on a scaffold like a table and then put a flower pot on top like a cup, or flower, or etc
