Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

New paintings to celebrate major updates (Axolotl painting)

Paintings are great and simple decoration pieces but haven't seen an update for ages. I think a great way to celebrate a new huge update would be adding a new painting with an image that represents it. As far as I'm aware, the last one added was the wither. Since a lot of updates have been made since then, this first batch would introduce 4 or five paintings. There could be a biome one, one with a coral reef, an illager and the reason I thought of this, PLEASE I need an axolotl painting in my house.

    Community votes dependant or not on the Minecraft Live could be use for community members to submit ideas that would be picked to be put in-game. Twitter and reddit are great platforms for submissions. This would be a fantastic way to embrace the players

    Maybe there could be a new painting each time there is a special event.

    Music Discs were something that needed updates and I think something that could use updates too is paintings in fact I was going to suggest this same idea but then I found this post.
