Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Double Slabs

Slabs of different kinds should be able to be placed on top of the other. For example an oak slab should be able to be placed on top of a stone slab in the same blockspace. This would work for every type of slab.

    I have heard so many people in twitch streams and youtube vids ask for this. As a builder it would make a world of difference! I heard someone say once that it hadn’t been done because world generation would have to be completely changed. It’s that what is being done in the 1.17 update? So maybe this is the perfect time?

    Smooth stone slab already behaves like this. Other blocks with edges should have this too (i.e. all polished blocks)
