Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Completely agree especially if your using a controller and have to rewrite a full sign just because a spelling mistake or something else.

When the sign/book editing interface was reworked, I was hoping this would be added as well. The ability to open the editing interface of a sign after already having saved it.

What could be a useful way to make this happen, is by right-clicking the existing sign with another sign.
Because when placing signs, you usually have more than one on you anyway, and this way you don't need a new/unrelated item to be able to edit the sign. And this way you also can't accidentally edit the sign if you right-click it unintentionally while just passing by (in case the edit function were on an empty hand).

A really annoying feature. You just have to missclick on the sign instead of a chest, and you already edit this sign. There should be a gamerule to disable this.
