Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Fletching table

After the caves and cliffs update was announced it got me thinking of all the possibilities that could unfold with the new use of the fletching table. I feel like it would be super cool to craft arrow heads using different types of metal/items and depending on the metal could garner their speed, distance, and strength. This could be implemented as netherite, most expensive, and slow but stronger than the others. Gold could be weakest but fastest flying, iron could be farthest flying, and copper (if added with crystal shards) could cause a lightning strike to happen wherever it hits during a thunderstorm. And other arrow tips could have other combinations of these 3 attributes. But those are just the arrows. I feel like it should also be used to mend near broken bows/crossbows with string or sticks It should also be able to make something new. For example, throwing stars or throwing knives which would be farther stronger and straighter than that of a snowball but would make a fun way to pvp or pve. I also think that spears and other ranged weapons would be a cool addition and could give the table a much needed use! Thank you!

    I think this is a good idea, but, although I like the idea, I'm not quite sure if different arrow heads would fit into the game very well. I think it should be used to repair bows and crossbows with string, too. Also, it should be used to upgrade arrows by adding or maybe taking away feathers, similar to how you can upgrade a map in cartography tables. Adding feathers would stabilize your arrow and make it more accurate, while subtracting arrows would speed it up, but it would be less accurate.

    I have a prediction for the fletching table, or at the very least a suggestion if it is wrong. I think that the new archeology implementation, maybe you can find arrow heads there. There might be different kinds and types of arrow heads, like maybe granite, andesite, or diorite. These different types would have trade-offs, like if it does more damage, it would be slower and go less far. These arrow heads would be made into new kinds of arrows only through the fletching table. This is only a prediction, but it might be wrong.
