Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Rubies

Rubies will spawn in veins on 4. Rubies will make the range of beacons shorter but make the effect stronger when placed on a beacon. I got this idea because rubies are used In the real world to strengthen lasers.

    MEGATRON2020 Rubies can't make armor and tools in real life I think but it is a cool concept you should make a feedback on that

    Instead of adding a new ore for this (and we already have a red ore anyway: redstone), what if this functionality was added to diamonds instead? (Diamonds are used in laser tools as well.) Perhaps all the beacon-compatible minerals should have a unique effect when fed to a beacon.

    My son's idea for rubies: Trade with blacksmith villagers to get uncraftable ruby armor (also rarely would spawn in chests).

    I dont know why but I also feel like rubies would be a perfect new item for alchemy, like gold. Rubies could be crafted with apples and berries to make new ruby apples and ruby berries. These new ruby fruits could either been eaten to grant cool effects or be brewed to make brand new potions.
