Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Doors should not require support

Since trapdoors no longer require supports I think doors too should be changed to be placed freely. It feels like the restriction is more in place because of how it's always been like that rather than for practical reasons. If we could place them freely we would be able to apply the same mindset we use while using trapdoors, making the rules of the game more in sync.
