Hardstone

It bothers me a bit how mining in Minecraft is unrealistically linear. Like in real underground mining you got find the easiest way to the ore veins, I would like to see hardstone get in the way of players. The name says it all, it would be a much harder block to mine, very abundant, and with no value except for making blast resistant walls. In that way, when mining, it's most likely you'll want to create a strategy to avoid mining to much hardstone to get to your ore. That would go nicely with the shrinking potion idea and narrow ore veins.

That would actually be pretty sick, and I would love to idea of "Hardened stone" or "Reinforced stone" that's invincible to explosions.

I feel as if it would be a bit annoying to navigate with this new block, but I could see the good sides of this.
