Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Harder Stone

I heard about the new Caves and Cliffs update. In the darker cave with the warden the cave walls are made up with a stone-like block. I think that block should be called Harder Stone or Hardened Stone and can only be mined with a diamond pickaxe. It would be mined slightly faster than obsidian. Also, the block would separate the normal caves from the "deeper darker" caves and "protect" miners from the warden. It would also be sort of a cave upgrade when you craft a diamond pickaxe because now you can go explore harder caves but find better loot.

    It should be mined with Iron Pickaxe, not only diamond.

    Well, iron you can get in seconds, if you're lucky. It's like a new "area" before going to the Nether, but not right when you get into the world.
