Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

copper is highly resistant to corrosion. Perhaps you meant "oxidize"?

Perhaps Copper should also oxidise at different rates depending on whether it is in contact with water/air. So if you surround it with glass or barrier blocks, no visible corrosion should take place? And what about the oxidisation happening quicker in higher altitudes (where there would be more water vapour condensing on the copper blocks)?

Copper shuold corrode slower in general. Right now it's 16 minecraft days (5:20 hours). That's way too fast.

It kind of defeats the historic purpose of the corrosion.

At least 64 minecraft days (21:20 hours) should be decent.

Minecraft streamers and daily players might prefer 128 to 512.

Maybe change the title to "Copper should corrode faster/slower" without "in different biomes". It refers to more people.

I think this is a good idea, especially so that it would make for more diversity in builds. Also it might make it possible to farm the oxidized variants of copper, and I think it fits, especially since they have such specific things like how snow golems don't leave snow in jungles. Lastly, I'm assuming that biomes such as forests and Plaines are by default the current oxidation rate, right?

Each biome has a hidden humidity level that is moslty unused. Perhaps the copper could oxidize at different rates depending on the Biome humidity.
