  This would be awesome! Maybe they could add a new jack o' lantern type by using a soul torch.

  Another idea that just popped in my head was lighting (with a torch/ soul torch) and unlighting (water?) the jack o' lantern could be a way to change it's face/ look. Each time you light it, it changes. (And possibly a way to lock the face so no one griefs your builds)

  There was a second idea to graze my head while I wrote the last comment: 

  In the Warden introduction there were candles, perhaps these candles could come in many colors and they would replace the use a torch for crafting a jack o' lantern. Now I know, colored candle, colored lighting, I mean maybe? But at the very least it would change the color of the face and its look (red - anger, blue - sad, light grey... chilling fear?). 

  [Side-idea you could go crazy and change the jack o' lanterns color to and get... many combinations... (I included a plain candle in my calculation; only 272) just saying :]

  Thought I'd make this a separate comment just in case people liked this more.

  It would probably work best if it was random. Like you get a chance of getting one of the 5 face options for jack-o-lanterns! It would be a cool halloween update, but that is pretty soon
