Beacon Reflectors(Made out of the New Geodes)

With minecraft live we were introduced to the new Crystal Geodes. However their only use was for the telescope. I was thinking about possible things they could be used for, and i thought of a Beacon Reflector. If a Beacon beam was to hit it, depending on the orientation of the block the beam would be redirected. I think this would add lots of new designs and build ideas to minecraft and be a useful block!

  I bet we could shorten that and just call it a Reflector right?  All in all, I like the concept!

  This could be used to make beacons usable redstone.

  the beacon being reflected would probably cause lag since it would travel on forever in on direction and the beacon gets blocked by a block and it powers of. Making this idea not work

  RoaringLegend45, with this new block they could change the way beacons worked. It wouldn't be the first time they released an update changing how something works. They could add a limit to the beacon distance, or something else to fix that problem. They could add different blocks the freeze the beacon beam and cause it to end at that block without powering off.
