I think the copper aging could be very cool as long as it is done right. It should take a long while for it to become green in order to truly show how much time has past. Like (2-3 Months)
I also think that the copper needs to be aging consistently instead of the patchy way it ages now. The best way for it to age would be fading between the textures instead of popping into existence.
