This would be great for changing such biomes like gravelly mountains which in my world I have completely covered in grass and birch trees but I still only get dandelions so I would enjoy other flowers

I would say this is a bad idea for survival worlds, but even worse for creative worlds. Sometimes, you pick a kind of biome, and build something that doesn’t fit into that biome, there, because they still go together. This could really mess up the ideas people have for worlds. I want to be able to change biomes, but I want full control over it, not to be controlled by it.

I agree with this Idea. As an rpg map builder that likes to make different regions and continents, I would very much like to have the ability in creative to change a biome of either very specific locations using XYZ to XYZ, or change the biome chunk by chunk or something like that. Right now its hard to sell that my superflat world’s mountainous snow biome is cold when the biome grass color is still vibrant plains-green and it rains instead of snows.

I thought of this once I saw the notes for the java edition 23w03a snapshot for adding the "snow_golem_melts" tag and reflected on how, in the past, I would create a snow golem in a place and it would transform everything into somewhat of a snow land and how the snow golem melts in certain biomes now. I think this behavior would make a world more lively and would bring more opportunities to world development. Of course this behavior might not always be wanted but this could be made optional and specific to circumstances that would be ideal. I think this could make a biome become less rigid in the world and could develop slowly and be implied on areas that seem natural and appropriate.
