Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Telescope Pedestal

A telescope on a stand for minecraft 1.17. Places and reacts like an armor stand but can be used. Can be crafted with a telescope + fence post (or iron bar) + smooth stone slab. This could be put on top of a tower and could be used to  scout out raids, watch the sunset, or just to admire your beautiful world.

    Great idea! Although not very practical, it would make a great decoration block.

    Yes! An awesome decoration item, but if it was also functional?! It would be awesome to use it while it is a placed item

    Really neat, and I thought this would be inevitable after they announced it.

    I would love yo see the telescope be usable still. I can see putting them on towers, and using them to find raiders and other mobs.

    Btw, you could click on it and use it as an actual telescope.

    Although I personally Don't like the Crafting Method, I think this idea is Brilliant
