Slime Caves

The reason I think this would be a good idea is perhaps in these caves there is slimy water based on the new cave generation announced and that the walls are made of slime but also slime blocks and the mob itself could be different colours based on how deep in the caves you are or what time of day it is. I think this would be an interesting biome for Minecraft 1.17 - Caves and Cliffs Update.

    Some new vegetation could be also added like mucilage or other mucilaginous plants, adding new mobs that would fit in the atmosphere like snails and new slime blocks (concentrated slime block, crystallized slime block that create stalagmites). Slimy water could give nausea and slowness effect that combined with stronger slimes could give this biome much more of a challenge. Those slimes could have a unique drop or maybe there could be an ore exclusive to this biome that would make it worth exploring.

    How about Frog towers invading this biome? Frogs love slime.
