Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

I think it might work if you could stack it

Maybe the block does it instead of a wire?

And you can put Copper Wire underwater

What if you could run along side of Redstone without interfering

Also copper wires with Redstone could be waterlogged.

I think copper wire would be useful in builds like telephone poles But the telephone poles can actually conduct redstone signals and it would be useful covering long distances like over Ocean's

I think that a copper block should act like a lightning rod and turn lightning into redstone signals

I agree except copper wire should be the honey-block equivalent to redstone, as honey was to slime.

Copper wire should essentially be the same as redstone- except the two can not directly connect or transmit power to each other.

This would be revolutionary for redstone machines, allowing for much more compact and efficient redstone designs!!!

how about giving it the ability to take redstone signals infinitely. like in real life copper wire could take electricity as far as you want

may be copper wire could be placed on the side of a block for virtical redstone traveling

When I heard about the copper ore, copper wire was the first thing I thought about. Since it's very difficult and creates awkward structures a solution for vertically running redstone is needed. I'd be happy if all copper wire did was hang on blocks like vines but transmitted a redstone signal. It could even have a higher resistance than redstone (meaning it would degrade the signal strength faster, say max height of 4 blocks).

rather than copper wire have copper blocks have the same functionality

It should not receive power from the redstone dust, unless it is connected to the same block.

it would deal damage if you stand on a powered copper block/wire. but you can use wax to isolate it

Basically bluestone but more reasonable to an extent, fashionable for industrial builds, and useful to the Redstone community. This is a good idea. There should be a disadvantage though, like water slowly drains the Redstone power? or Maybe you need a partner like the equivalent to tripwires for string, a copper plug? I don't know, it might be overpowered so it needs an disadvantage but I really like concept.

I would like to add to this idea because I had the same one Copper Wire should be crafted with Copper, Redstone Dust, and String. Copper Wire would work like Redstone except it’d need no Repeaters, maybe just an electric source block. It would be able to be placed on all sides of a block. Copper Wires & Redstone Dust should be able to be placed along side each other without connecting. The only way Copper Wires & Redstone Dust could connect is through a “Connector” that would allow the signals to connect.

I think copper wire could be made from a copper ingot and redstone. The recipe should give the player maybe 4 wire. The player could also add bee's wax to make insulated wire and dye to make colored insulated wire. All wire should need able to transmit signal vertically and under water. The player can also place multiple wire on the same surface of a block like candles or sea pickles. add a redstone to wire block to convert the signal. finally insulated wire does not interact with other wire adjacent to it. This is mainly to compact redstone builds and make vertical builds less resource intensive.

they should add copper sword/ weapons and Armor with the copper enchantments like thunder attack up to level 3 or etc

Or just use redstone. But it could be better if you can put copper wires in walls.
