Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Lava flowing into a hopper should continuously power furnaces

This idea is admittedly a bit far fetched, but I've been working with lava accents in my room builds recently and it made me think: hoppers exist to funnel items into other objects, one of which being furnaces, and lava (or more accurately, lava buckets) are the best fuel source in the game.

So what if we could skip the bucket part? I think it would be an awesome feature if hoppers could "funnel" lava straight into a furnace without a bucket. Now I know the way minecraft lava works this could break the energy conservation mechanic, but it's just a neat idea I thought I'd share. It would just make large scale furnace builds a lot more fuel efficient. :D
