Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

New normal oak variant, Elder Oak

Elder Oaks can be grown by planting 9 oak saplings in a 3x3 area. When it is grown up, it looks like a much larger and better-looking version of the large oaks. These would use bark blocks for branches and the main log, but normal log blocks would be used for small branches.

Elder Oaks can be rarely found in the center of villages and sometimes in the wild.

These could be both a good decoration for large-scale builds, without going through the hassle of building a natural-looking tree yourself, and could be used as a good log source for larger structures.

    Maybe they could have more of a grey tone.. Logs and planks!

    Perhaps just log blocks for the main log, with dark oak in the middle, but they could be HUGE, the height of a small 4x4 jungle tree, but with more bigger branches. The lowest branches would be dark oak. They would have a super low chance to spawn in forests, dark oak forests, and jungles. They would also have a chance to spawn having been split by lightning.

    They could add a new leaf, though not a new log. Elder oak leaves have a chance of dropping acorns, apples, golden apples, enchanted golden apples, and sweet berries. They would also have a chance to spawn with beehives on them.

    They would spawn with vines.

    Perhapse there could be a way to get syrup from such trees? (I can't help but want maple syrup in Minecraft, it is essential)
