Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Ground Exploding Fireworks!

This is an idea for a new type of firework variant. 

 

Ground exploding fireworks! Fireworks that explode without shooting into the air, perhaps with a bit of time delay to run away, would be cool for making firework shows and might make a neat addition to PVP. Ground exploding fireworks are a thing in real life, so why not in MC? These could be crafted using bamboo as a timed fuse. Adding more bamboo could increase the time delay.

Alternatively, ground fireworks could be more simply implemented by throwing the firework stars onto the ground like you do with fire charges.

    This would have no use other than pvp or griefing so it would most likely not be used often by most players
