All critters that are killed with Fire Aspect swords should drop uncooked items if they die in and on the water.
I mean, I deduced a non sense throughout a comparative: in a water pool I've spawned land animals (rabbits, chickens, sheeps and cows; except hoglins because, unlike striders that are harmed by the water, but practically they cannot even see the water for two reasons, first one is because water can't be in the natural environments of the hoglins and second one because if hoglins travel to know the water in the proper place they are no longer hoglins and so their drops changes), and some fishes (cod and salmon because those can be cooked), then I killed them all with a Fire Aspect sword, but only from the land animals I looted cooked food. And you might say "but that's way obvious: fishes live in water and their environment do not let any fire related phenomenon" Are you sure that this happen only when the fishes are inside the water? Because later I spawned both land animals and fishes but now out of the water and the result was the same being that now the fishes should be cooked and the other animals would naturally be obvious to drop cooked items because there is no water presence.
I tell you this because, at least I, do not like to have to choose between Fire Aspect or Looting (there is no reason to choose, are not mutually exclusive enchantments) just because I want to farm raw food and cook it all for later to get more EXP while doing it so.
