    It is very hard. One of the reasons is that bedrock is made using c++ and java is made using java, if they were to do that they'd have to replace one for the other.

    This would pose far too many technical difficulties unless Java and bedrock were 100% identical, and that's never going to happen. Can you imagine Java or bedrock players trying to do PvP or redstone together?

    I want them to recreate PE version using only Javascript so that we could do crossplay between PE and Java

    yes please its really sad i cant play with my friend and its really annoying because we are both great builders and would like to make a map together.

    I agree. I have just recently gotten Minecraft java edition, and all of my friends either play on pe or bedrock and we all want to play together despite it not being possible. While I have Java and cannot redeem the bedrock edition anymore, I would have to buy pe or bedrock to play with them.
