Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Donkey/mule hoppers

like a special chest or hopper to put on donkeys/mules and when equipped they will pick up items off the ground like eggs, and wool and stuff

    I had an idea a while back for donkeys, mules and llamas to follow paths and drop things off in chests.  Combined with this you could make a cool collection system.

    /I also wanted buoys for boats.  Make a boat with a furnace and it will move around from buoy to buoy until it runs out of coal, but the buoy blocks would work like hoppers so you could build a water transport system.  It was sort of a hierarchy...

    Carts/Rail- the most expensive system but the best performance
    Pack Animals- a nice cheaper but slower alternative on land
    Steamboats- a nice cheaper but slower alternative on water
