Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Glowing Shields

If you surround a shield with 4 glowstone, you get a shield that acts like a light source. Not only that, but it would also make the shield have a glow effect as well. I think this would be really cool especially if the shield had a design on it. The only difference with designs is that certain parts of the shield would glow brighter.

 

Example: Skull Shield - The whole shield glows but the skull and bones would give off a brighter glowing effect.
