Ghasts being scared of Lodestones

Being able to protect your nether buildings from ghasts by simply placing a Lodestone and activate it with a compass, maybe a zone of 100 blocks around the lodestone where the ghasts won't be able to approach or to shoot fireballs. The lodestone is somewhat a special block and a little bit expensive to craft, why not give it another functionality asides from be used as a marker?. This way the nether would be even more "liveable".

    Love this idea! Came across it looking for ways to get rid of them!
