The whole point of potions not being stackable is that there is a trade off for having it, do you want another potion? Or would you rather have this other item?
Why was this even added? Potions were balenced fine except maybe the possibility that splash potions/lingering potions could possibly stacked to 3. Consumable items are used because you can't tackle a problem with what you have. So you get them to make you stronger. If you have a practically unlimited of them that pretty much removes all challenge which allows more accessibility but that is the point of the easier difficulties is it not?
