Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Maybe the gold could have a separate durability bar, that depletes more quickly than the armor's original durability, and could break off eventually? I love the idea! Now that I think about it, they could do a lot with the smithing table's new functionality.

Tirado the red, you are right, when they finish the attribute system there are endless possibilities, add suger and it has more speed. Add a golden apple and more health, theres so much you could do

Wait, "finish" the attribute system, meaning they're working on one? Sweet!

I wonder if it'd be cool if you could use certain items on weapons to change their "style" - I.e., their appearance, cooldown time, and damage, almost like a rebalancing tool for enhancing certain play styles.

I'd love to have a gold plated guard on a sword. It'd look incredibly cool.

Why only iron? Why not give existing Golden Tools a new feature?
My extension of this idea would be that you could combine Golden Tools with other tools together in the anvil, and that tool, let's say it's a Netherrite pickaxe, is then gold-plated for a certain duration (i.e. not permanently!) and in the case of the pickaxe could degrade faster. So you have a gold-plated Netherrite pickaxe that you can combine with a golden pickaxe, so that the Netherrite pickaxe is more efficient for a certain period of time.
