Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Add "Loose Stones" as a Decorative Item in Caves

Currently we can decorate the floors of custom caves with stone buttons, but I propose a new block, which looks similar to stone buttons but behaves like sea pickles or sea turtle eggs. We could place down one or several, and the appearance would change to reflect that, just as sea pickles currently do. Having these naturally generate in caves, or even on the surface of the overworld, would look amazing. They could be purely decorative, or have a function. One possible function is to have them be throwable, similar to snowballs. Another is when placed on walls, they could provide handholds, and allow us to climb similar to how we can climb ladders.

    They'll really need a good purpose if they'll ever be added.

    So, they could drop flint and gravel when mined, and could be craftable with a block of stone or cobblestone in a crafting grid.
