I feel that though the community has created fantastic guides on the topic of add-ons and how to create them along with texture packs, I feel there should be some official information regarding certain things.
As an example, I am currently trying to make animated textures for a resource pack i am creating.
The problem I am finding is that though I am following the process of how to add in new lines to the flipbook.json file and make sure I have commas and the correct brackets when needed, I find that some textures just simply don't work.
An official guide pointing out key pieces of information to take note of would be great. Maybe even put in comments into the .json files themselves detailing what everything does would just streamline the whole process.
The information I am finding online is incomplete I feel as it seems there is a line limit that MCBE can handle but nothing is mentioned anywhere.
What lead me to this conclusion was that when using a smaller .json file with the problematic lines higher up in the order, they worked, but when I added them to the example vanilla .json file you can download they didn't work.
So yeah TLDR: Official comprehensive guides for editing the most common aspects of MCBE, maybe even throw in how to remove certain features like the randomisation of block texture rotation or add block texture randomisation for variants.
