Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Adamantine Ore

Adamantine ore would generate below Y level 16. A vein of adamantine ore would generate in a formation of 1 to 6 ore. Adamantine ore must be smelted to get an adamantine ingot.

Adamantine would be used in the smelting table, to upgrade diamond swords. The upgrade would do something similar to smite 5, and deal extra damage to undead. It would also inflict slowness on undead.

    So, it comes with a top tier enchantment, and a special effect, without any enchanting? Sounds op.

    I like this idea since it is similar to Minecraft Dungeons rare weapons that already have enchantments on them. Perhaps there should be a similar ore for Bane of Arthropods as well?

    This new ore,might be a great way to spice up our weapons and enchantments,and overall make the game a little bit more interesting and challenging.

    I think if we could find this ore only in layers with bedrock it would make it much more cool and rarer. It would be nice if you needed to explode 2 tnt to get the ores and if that get all of the ore dislodged from the other bedrock then you would have to keep exploding stuff till it did. The only way to smelt it would be in a blast furnace and it would need a bucket of lava to smelt it and it would take maybe a whole day in minecraft to smelt one piece of it. I think of you made it extremely rare and made it like I had it then it would be not as op and would make it more balanced maybe make it as an ore that is mixed with iron and gold to make one ingot of it maybe you need 3 iron ingots 3 gold ingots and three adamantine shards or pieces and then you got one adamantine ingot that you could use to upgrade any weapon or tool or armor and the armor would only be allowed three enchantments and it would never break but also it would never burn get blown up or even get damage at all you would take damage but the armor would absorb it and protect you a bunch but it would never take damage only you would if the person hit you enough.

    I do agree that it is kinda overpowered, but not really. Smite only works on undead, meaning skeletons and zombies and all their variants, along with phantoms and the two undead horses, one of which doesn't even spawn naturally. Even then, the only way to one-shot an undead is to use smite 5 WITH A CRITICAL HIT. Just thought I'd point that out :)

    Edit: By the way, maybe the level of smite increases depending on how many adamantine ingots you use
