Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Ore in The End, Netherite's Counterpart

An Ore? In The End?

Since Nertherite Now Exist and It upgrades One's Equiment, I like to suggest a second option on upgrade on one's diamond equipment

POSSIBLE NAME:

  • End's Platinmun 
  • Celestite
  • Enderite (how original)
  • Wurtzite (Irl Stonger than diamond)
  • Mytril?
  • Dragon's Shard

Why Upgrade to this ore and not Netherite:

Just like netherite it Upgrading to this ore will increase the attack power and durability of One's equipment but It has Special Attributes

  • LightWeight ; Armor-Wise This new ore Grants a slighy Increase One's Movement Speed on a whim but...
  • Lower Knockback Resistance* ; This more of situaltional quirk, It increases the Knockback when hitted by something
  • Temporary Hover* ; When fallen into a specific height a levitation or slow falling effect will occur in a few second or so but it will only activate when wearing 3/4 of its armor
  • When The Player dies, the items will Teleport* to the nearest surface (when in the Overworld) or In the Nearest portal/gate (on other dimensions)
  • Enderman Immunity ; wearing this armor will make endermen fully neutral even if you look at them

How to Obtain one?

Obtaining it will be as tedious as Netherite but with a twist (take this with a grain of salt but im open on ideas on how to obtain it as well)

Idea 1 : a rare chance on a new generated structure 

Idea 2 : defeating a dragon on a specific fight (challange fights)

Idea 3 : Underground ore waiting to be mined & smelted

TL;DR

An Ore in the end as strong as netherite but more lightweight and magical

    I like the idea of 2 (or even more) top-tier endgame materials. I think that most important quality to the success of this material is how balanced it is with netherite. The two should be balanced enough that the decision between which one you use is interesting.

    Honestly I had almost the exact same idea just pop into my head, but here's my view on it.

     

    I think the ore should be a creamy-white, similar to End Stone but with a texture more closely resembling quartz - I thought it would be cool referring to it as Ivory, as that shares a similar colour in real life -, rather than purple. Not only will this provide players with a recognisably End-themed armour, it will also allow players to have more vanity options in the game.

     

    Considering Netherite Armour has Knockback Resistance built into it (an attribute shared with the Wither), I think that it would be cool if the End Armour had an attribute shared with the Dragon - advanced healing capabilites. This would switch things up for players who enjoy PvP and for players who struggle with the combat side of vanilla survival minecraft, should they get to this point.

     

    I think the Ore should be found similarly to Netherite, but not exactly. You know those small island with an almost circular top? I think occasionally, they should have a few of the ores, and a few loot chests - and the ores would be turned into tools and armour and ingots in the same way Netherite is, but perhaps with Ender Pearls or Chorus Fruit?

    I agree with pretty much everything you said. I feel like if they make a new structure it should be something like the end portal, just a bit different. The armor should look purplish and have endermen sparkles coming out of it. Like when endermen teleport, they leave behind little particles. Just a suggestion.

    Overally a great idea, but I have two suggestions:

    1. Maybe the chestplate from this material could be weaker, but used with elytra?

    2. The armour could give the player enderpearl damage resistance.
