Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Friendly Shulker

A Friendly Shulker. What does it do? It shoots it's projectile at mobs and not you while stationary. It's also an item that you can place down and let it do its business. When you're done, you can mine it and hold on to it for later. Why would I think this would work in minecraft. Simple. The companions we have (that being the Dog and Cat) aren't that useful late game. The Friendly Shulker fixes that by being another companion that's reliable late game, but you need to actually craft it. I just think this is a great addition to Minecraft and hope this gets in.

    Maybe it could be “killed” by hitting it and drop as an item rather than being a block
