Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Cheaper Chains

As of 1.16, chains currently require 1 iron ingot + 2 iron nuggets to make a single chain. I believe this is to expensive and should be made cheaper. For reference, a single Iron Bar (block) requires 3.375 iron nuggets*, while a single chain requires 11 iron nuggets. Furthermore, chains have the same hitbox as an unconnected lron Bar, yet are so much more expensive. There are two ways to make chains cheaper. One, is to replace the iron bar in the recipe with an iron ingot. The Second (which is the option that I would prefer), is to make the recipe give 3 chains instead of 1. Both of these options make the cost of chains similar to iron bars (around 3 iron nuggets) Chains are a great block, but is currently to expensive to use often. It would be a shame for this block to go unused because of its cost. *this number is from converting ingots into nuggets.

    absolutely. it's obscenely expensive. 

    i for one propose that chains be made out of iron nuggets. 3 nuggets in a line to one chain. 6 ingots for 18 chains is quite reasonable.
