Good way to introduce sand farming

I just want to preface this by saying I know there are ways to farm sand already suggested here, but I think my solutions fits best with the game and its lore, but really as long as we get farmable sand a lot of people would be happy.

With the new 1.16 update, Mojang has nulled the need for gravel dupers, but we still need lots of sand dupers if we don't want to get tons of sand. Since these duping mechanisms are quite "cheaty", it would be better all-around if we could farm sand legitimately, so here's what I propose:

Piglin Bartering already gives you tons of gravel, but another thing it gives you a lot of is soul sand. There is little to no need for this much soul sand, so maybe we could repurpose it into normal sand? The method I suggest is that we make it so that if soul sand gets exploded, it drops sand blocks(like how you get cobble from breaking stone with pickaxe/TNT, except in this case it would only apply to TNT drops).

The reason/justification behind this idea is that when you explode the soul sand, it kills the "soul" in soul sand, thus leaving you with just normal sand. There could be some minor tweaks, however, like for example, it only works in the overworld(and maybe the end too), otherwise, you would have ghast explosions creating sand items which would look out of place.

I like the idea, but I would suggest to just use a furnace to convert it to sand. The explosion thing in different dimensions looks too complicated

We definitely need a 'legit' sand farm, i dissagree on this way though, it's just too slow. On bedrock we don't have a TNT dupers, so we need a TONS of sand, i wonder if we can introduce a quick way of farming it so it worth AFKing instead of just goin to a desert with a shovel. Piglin trading just won't cut it
