Shaking potions

Certain new potions (or existing ones) would require shaking a bottle as a part of the potion preparation procedure. Shaking a potion can be done by crouching and pressing right mouse button.

Shaking potions would require some timing skill, as it would explode and cause damage to you if done wrong.

Successful shaking activates the potion and it's ready for using.

  Also, shaking it too much could make the potion overreact, and potentially explode, making this a risky procedure. The only thing is that it is mapped to the use button, so it would be attempted to drink with. Instead, make it left click/attack.

  I would maybe even suggest this as a block. You could have a rudimentary shaking device made with levers, redstone, and cobblestone, and then a more advanced crucible that would shake fast but stop automatically when the desired effect is attained.

  Overreaction of potion is a good idea, you would need a good timing skill for potion preparation.
  I don't think it should affect the status effect of the potion, it is still too easy procedure to have so much value. If it would enhance or change the effect of the potion, it would need to be very challenging.
  A block is also a good idea, maybe it could use redstone as fuel. I don't know how many bottles should it shake at once.

  The main idea behind this is to make brewing potions more challenging. Currently you just need ingredients and recipes on Wikipedia.
  This would require a bit of skill. However, it shouldn't be necessary for all of the potions, only for those that should be harder to obtain.
