Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

New recipe for wooden axes and WHY

The new recipe for wooden axe would be sticks. Only sticks and why is that, because I think it’s time to move on from “punch the tree meme”. My idea is that you got to “punch” leaves or dead bushes to collect sticks. Then craft wooden axes to be able to “mine” trees. As same as punching stone would give you nothing, trees would now also drop nothing. Unless you get sticks from wherever or naturally leaves to craft wooden axe.

 

EDIT: Because of some comments below.                                          This is just for wooden axes not the other axes only the recipe for wooden axe.

No? I don’t want wood as a building block to become useless... read again please.

    I fully agree with this! This makes the game more realistic but I also think that the minecraft community might not be able to move on from the original idea that you need to punch a tree. Players that dont follow update news might not understand how to progress.

    Punching the tree is not a meme :(  If axes changed to just sticks, all the others would change too. What about stone iron diamond and netherite?

    Why would you want trees to become useless? Wood and logs are such a common building material, and there would be an uproar from the community if this was added

    the can be a demotion that needs a portal the demotion is called color world . to make the portal you need red, orange, yellow, lime, light blue,and purple concrete . the you put those in a square. the use flint and steel and light it inside the square. thats how you will make the portal. inside the demotion its is very colorful. the blocks will be concrete, concrete powder, and other colerful blocks.
