Keyboard and mouse support for iOS

As iOS has now incooporated mouse and keyboard support I feel it's necessary that iOS gets mouse and keyboard support. I've bought a mouse and keyboard specifically for the game and am heartbroken that it doesn't have support.

    It’s quite frustrating that this post has been up for nearly 2 years and not a single reply from the devs has been given. This seems like such a non-issue to add the support for iPads. Why even have the settings options for keyboard/mouse if the game itself doesn’t support it on iPad? Having a new Logitech keyboard case with an incredibly smooth trac pad would make playing Minecraft on the go so easy and convenient. And I have Minecraft on multiple devices but somehow my iPad runs it best and it would be great to be able to play with a variety of control schemes.

    PLEASE Mojang, at least respond to the crowd of people begging for two years to add support!

    Minecraft Bedrock Edition (iOS/iPadOS) has a setting in settings for keyboard and mouse, but there is no support for keyboard and mouse??? I just got an iPad Pro with Logitech Combo Touch and a Mouse…

    我也希望mojang添加IOS系统对键鼠的支持，Xbox，ps4早已得到适配，键鼠应该不会远，现在很多游戏也添加了对ios键鼠的支持，作为一个7年玩家，我很期待

    My ipad pro needs this. It's basically my laptop and I don't like the touch controls. Especially when apple is selling keyboards that attach to ipads.

    I hate using controllers, and I was so excited to try this when I upgraded to 12.9” iPad. Really disappointed it’s not an option, despite appearing in settings.

    Currently typing on my magic keyboard, and using a mouse. So let down that Mojang would still not resolve this, it’s 2022 come on man why would it be still neglected.

    It’s been about 2 years. Everyone has been saying that it would work in iOS 14. But now it’s iOS15 and this is still not possible, even though it works on Android. Why?

    Even though the devs are really busy. I don’t think this would be that time consuming to add into the game. Mods and devs have probably already seen this and denied it.I just hope that they can implement this into their game. I just bought a keyboard and mouse for this game specifically, and I am sad to have found out it only works on android. Please do this Microsoft

    I spended sooo much money on a keyboard for my ipad! I wanted to make my ipad a gaming computer by adding a keyboard. But when i connected the keyboard and mouse and opened minecraft i couldn’t play with it! I want Mincraft to do something about it! Their are a lot off peaple with the same problems! SO PLEASE MINECRAFT SUPPORT A KEYBOARD AND MOUSE ON AN IOS DEVICE! Its really needed! Pleaseee

    Omg, it’s been a couple of years since this issue was arisen. So much people are in need of this function, they bought keyboards and mouses, spent money! They can see this function in the game but it doesn’t work. It’s awful from Mojang side. Please solve this situation. At least give us any feedback, come on!

    Well, Bluetooth support is now possible! With the release of minecraft 1.19 (On june 3rd), you'll be able to play mc bedrock ios with mouse and keyboard!

    Mojang, this topic has been here for almost 2 years. You still haven't responded. Apart from those who write here about this subject, there are people who do not write as much. If you bring this support, there are many people who will play this game. You're ignoring a large audience. It's impossible not to see a post with so many upvotes and so many comments. Either your feedback team is not working well or you are too lazy to do this job. There can be no other explanation.

    Adding my voice to the void… I almost never give feedback to devs since its usually about something that is already being worked on. In this case even the lack of explanation as to why this is being avoided makes me glad I stopped paying for a realm. I’m also going to refund on iOS until it’s fixed…

    I say this in the kindest way possible. Do better.

    One more voice (and vote! If you're reading this, vote for the issue at the top of the discussion!) in favor of enabling "traditional" keyboard and mouse support in the iOS build. I have Java, Bedrock on PC, Bedrock on Android, Bedrock on iOS and the lack of keyboard and mouse support is astonishing - as an old guy not used to zero-feedback screen controls the iOS version is just about unplayable even on an iPad Pro. It's not like there's a ton of new integration that needs to be built.

    I have known about this issue for a while… but today I decided to try keyboard and mouse on my Iphone again anyway. Luckily, I noticed a difference. Now, when I plug in my keyboard and mouse and try to play mc my mouse is supported. I can use the scroll wheel, break and build, and look around with my mouse. However the keyboard is still not supported… Im glad that mojang has given us mouse support, its just that its kinda useless right now:( PLEASE GIVE US THIS MOJANG!!

    Update it because when I click esc the whole game freezes and I have to unplug the keyboard and mouse and plug it back in, I am also running IpadOS 16.1

    We almost gave up but then figured out how to get the keyboard working on our iPad Mini.

    When hitting spacebar, a yellow border was appearing around the entire screen. Instead of jump, Minecraft was doing the “action” command.

    We fixed this by going into the Settings app > Accessibility > Keyboards & Typing > Full Keyboard Access > switch off.

    Hope this helps at least one other player who’s about to lose their mind.

    I have tried connecting my keyboard and my mouse and yet I can’t move,but hey i can break blocks instantly by clicking
