Keyboard and mouse support for iOS

As iOS has now incooporated mouse and keyboard support I feel it's necessary that iOS gets mouse and keyboard support. I've bought a mouse and keyboard specifically for the game and am heartbroken that it doesn't have support.

    The fact this is still not added after 2 years is mind-boggling to me. Really hope the Developers add it someday. Right now we just have to dream about it.

    I would absolutely love for this to be added to the game. Full keyboard support has been made possible by Apple in iOS 13.4 and iOS 14, and has since been implemented on numerous other iOS games such as Terraria. The current mobile controls can be annoying, and don’t really suffice. Many people who have a keyboard and mouse for their iPad would love for this to be added, and I really hope Mojang decides to :D

    Just bought keyboard and dual adapter so I could use both the keyboard and a mouse I already own. So what the heck?!

    Please listen to us, devs! You need to add keyboard and mouse controls to Ipad, it would be quite a fabulous experience and it would be much easier to play!

    Cannot fathom how this isn't a thing yet. To me, Minecraft is unplayable without KB&M.

    I have an ipad pro and I love playing minecraft on it so I bought a keyboard and a mouse to play minecraft, but I am disappointed. Theres no support for keyboard and mouse on iOS minecraft. :(

    What I cannot understand is that with iPadOS 15.1 Minecraft offers an option for mouse and keyboard, the original Apple keyboard (Magic Keyboard 5th Gen) is not recognized as a keyboard.

    This needs to happen. The only thought that comes to mind when I wonder why Microsoft is ignoring this issue is that it could be a conflict of interest - bottom line: they want people to game with mice and keyboards on a Windows machine. That'd be my guess, anyway.

    Nevertheless, it's unacceptable and is basically ruining Minecraft Bedrock for me. I don't have a viable Windows PC on which to play Minecraft like this, so I'm basically looking at an underperformant Java edition on Mac or no Minecraft at all.

    It’s crazy this has not been added yet. At this point I think it’s a business decision not to do it as it risks increasing Apple’s cut as more people buy the game through the App Store rather than via Microsoft’s channels.

    Same here, I bought a really good mouse and keyboard for the purpose of playing minecraft and was sad when it didn't support it. Mojang can you please make mouse and keyboard support for IOS and Andriod mobile, we all would really appreciate it.

    Apparently I should have researched before assuming the keyboard and mouse I bought specifically for iPad minecraft because in settings it says it supports full keyboard and mouse. obviously I’ll use it for other things but definitely cant play at all until Mojang adds support for it.

    Please make fixing this a priority as it shouldn't take very much time to fix at all and affects a large portion of the Minecraft Bedrock Edition user base in a very negative way.

    I really want that, too. In iPadOS 14 Apple added the ability to lock the mouse cursor, so now they have everything they need to implement this feature! Even the setting are there!

    My daughter just got a BT keyboard for Christmas and is crushed that Minecraft doesn’t support it on her iPad.

    I did the same and was pretty disappointed when It did not work. What irrigates me more was how you can connect a bluetooth controller (like ps4, Xbox 1) and you can play just fine with it.

    Yes, it would not give any unfair advantages as bedrock Minecraft is cross-platform and windows 10 users are already using keyboard and mouse so i do not see why iOS support for keyboard and mouse as not been Implemented as in the control options there is a keyboard setting (for windows 10).

    Mojang, please answer our requests. Literally at the moment, I spend less time in the game than I would like, since I do not have regular access to a PC, and using touch controls in the game is quite wild.

    Needs to be added asap, would make a great edition to an already amazing game
