Keyboard and mouse support for iOS

As iOS has now incooporated mouse and keyboard support I feel it's necessary that iOS gets mouse and keyboard support. I've bought a mouse and keyboard specifically for the game and am heartbroken that it doesn't have support.

    Man, I’d love to see this be implemented. I keep checking back every update since iPadOS 13. Currently typing this from my iPad as well.

    Another one who bought a keyboard and mouse specifically to play on iPad, assuming it would just work. My son and I are very sad.

    My son has an iPad and the Apple keyboard designed to go with it, but the keyboard commands don't work with Mindcraft. Adding another request to help correct this? Thanks:)

    Please add proper keyboard support. That would also make it possible to play Minecraft iOS on m1 Macs.

    I was thinking about this and realized that if Pocket Edition gets proper Keyboard and Mouse support, you would be able to play Bedrock Edition on a Mac (You can run iPhone apps if you have a new Mac now) which would be AMAZING

    iOS 14 has been out for a while now, the SDK has been out even longer, I wish the Mojang would implement the keyboard and mouse functionality that Apple have added to the game framework already.  The touch-screen controls are horrendous so I find the game unplayable.

    Microsoft just seems to be ignoring this?

    Why would they not want to do it?

    Its in the settings and yet they haven’t added it?

    It seems like a very dumb idea not to add it in I mean I bought a keyboard with a track pad for my iPad to do this yet they don’t want to add it in for the many players who want this.

    Shame on Microsoft.

    I play Minecraft quite a lot on Java and on PE iOS. It would make the game play so much easier to have keyboard and mouse support. Other platforms have it and iOS has now made this possible. If only an update from Minecraft included this. I have a Smart Keyboard and a Bluetooth mouse which are pretty much useless. Because it’s all I really use my iPad for, out and about playing Minecraft as that is easier to carry than a laptop.

    adding my wholehearted support of this! i have a logitech key/mouse setup on ipad pro that i use for work and i’d love to be able to play PE without the frustration of the horrible screen interface. i’m genuinely shocked MS hasn’t done this given it’s been a year since the WWDC presentation.

    I have an iPad mini with iPadOS 14 but I’m extremely heartbroken that my keyboard and mouse won’t work on Minecraft (iOS version) PLEASE add keyboard and mouse support apple. And Mojang please make your game work better with ios keyboard and mouse please!

    This is a critical feature that should be supported on the iOS version. A user can access the keyboard menu in the settings but can’t actually use a keyboard or set keys, which is very disappointing. The only workaround I’ve seen was from a YouTuber who set up a Bluetooth keyboard as an assistive switch device, but that is far too complex for the average user.

    I bought mouse and keyboard but it don't move or do anything iam so disappointed when this happened to me and I also bought the cables and everything with my money and for what for nothing plz fix that Mojang

    I want to play minecraft on the go on a device that runs better than my switch and on a bigger screen, but I can’t because I would have to use touch controls. Please add support

    I bought an iPad because it was a more portable way to play than my computer and the keyboard and mouse didn’t work on mope but it did within iPadOS!

    I really hope that keyboard and mouse support for iOS is considered! Android has it with the new 1.17 update and I’m disappointed that the same can’t be said for iOS users. 

    The amount of MCPE players that would be thrilled to have our keyboards compatible with the game is higher than you think!

    We’ve been waiting awhile, come on now!

    I currently have an iPad and magic keyboard and mouse. I’ve tried many tutorials on how to play but it doesn’t work on my iPad neither my phone and I’d really appreciate keyboard mouse compatibility.

    I just wanna buy ipad keyboard then I see the rivew but people say tthat minecraft not support to the keyboard yet soo im gonna wait when its Done supprot im gonna buy the ipadkeyboard
