Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Nether boats

Nether boats
I wish it existed boats that can resist lava made of Nether wood, because Nether wood resist lava and there are not nether wood boats.
I think that this item would look good and would fit into the game and would allow players to move through the nether lava oceans otherwise.
This hypothetical object could be crafted on a crafting table by putting the nether wood in the same way as normal wood is made for making boats.

    I think this is smart but knowing that striders are already in the game, I’m not sure the will make boats.

    Striders exist as Lava boats and Nether horses.

    I voted 'cause when I played Nether survival and finally made it out from the Nether I was in the middle of the ocean and had no means to travel on the water, cause nether-wood boats don't exist.

    I was disappointed when I discovered nether boats hadn't come with the 1.16 update, and I hope they add them soon. Since you can't smelt nether wood in a furnace, it would also make sense if the nether boats were resistant to lava, allowing you to cross lava using a boat made of nether wood

    I was just staring out into the open in the nether and thought that there needs to be nether boats so traveling is easier.

    Nether boats could also be upgraded from normal boats with a netherite ingot. They should float on lava, but sink in normal water.

    Nether boats could be part of a whole lava update that could include lava fishing, too! Think about it -- the Nether update updated most parts of the Nether but the ONLY thing it added to lava oceans was striders. Lava oceans need more. They need nether wood boats, and some kind of vegetation growing in them, and some kind of fish, and more kinds of lava sea life, parallel to all the different kinds of life in the overworld oceans.

    I think this is a great idea but i think the nether boats should be slower in lava because lava is stickier you can see that because it flows much more slowly than water. I also think that nether boats would sink in lava. just an idea

    Regardless of practicality (due to striders,) I think it'd be a nice touch of extra color and attention to detail in the game.

    Yes, and it would be amazing to have some new bright colored boats.
