Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Black diamonds

Could possible be another ore to the nether. The nether version of diamonds, black diamonds could be stronger than diamonds but weaker than netherite in a future update. Used to craft weapons, tools, armor, blocks, and could possibly be traded as a higher currency than emeralds. It also could have special stats like the netherite armor for example, has knockback resis. The black diamond armor could have magic resist ( less damage from witches, enderdragon breath etc. anything that has magic) can Be  mined with diamond and netherite pickaxes
