There should be confetti in Minecraft. First, you would craft scissors with 4 iron nuggets and 1 iron ingot. then, you can place paper as a block similar to snow layers. you can even do this with maps and empty maps, or treasure maps. Next, press the interact button on your keyboard, controller, or touchscreen and you cut the paper layers into shredded paper. NOTE: scissors have durability the same as shears, and you cannot use shears to make shredded paper, or you cannot us scissors on sheep. You cannot stack maps. Then, after you have shredded the paper, put it in a crafting recipe and add as many color dyes you want to be in the confetti. After that, craft the confetti (it will say what colors are in it similar to how a shulker box tells you what is in it) and then throw it in the air. (there will always be white or tan-ish color confetti depending on if you cut paper or a map.) Confetti is a cheaper alternative to fireworks! (Compatible with redstone.)
